Our volunteer-led advocacy service is completely free, independent and confidential.
We understand it can be difficult for some people to disclose issues or concerns about the health service provider whom they, or the person(s) whom they care for may be receiving care from. We will not take any action on your behalf until we discuss this in full with you and receive your consent to proceed.
The IPA complies with GDPR with regards your personal data. Notwithstanding, if you disclose information in relation to, but not limited to, the possibility of you harming yourself or others, then confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. A member of our team will discuss the limitations of confidentiality if this situation arises. Please phone 999 or 112 and/or visit your local emergency department if you are at risk of harming yourself, or someone else.
